May 7, 2020—Private exporters reported to the U.S. Department of Agriculture export sales of 686,000 metric tons of corn for delivery to China.  Of the total, 371,000 metric tons is for delivery during the 2019/2020 marketing year and 315,000 metric tons is for delivery during the 2020/2021 marketing year.

StatsCan reported higher intended wheat acres in Canada but the market found support from cold weather forecasted for northern Midwest states the next two days that could damage some SRW. However, the cold spring has also delayed maturity which should limit damage.
