Wheat, corn, and soybeans all fell to lower levels today as the bearish trend marches on. Improved chances for rain in KS and Russia pressured wheat, as did Romania lifting its ban on wheat exports to non-EU destinations (the ban lasted 6 days). Corn continues to reel from the slowdown in the ethanol sector and soybeans posted the lowest weekly export sales of the marketing year. There just isn’t any friendly news and the market is shifting focus toward focusing on new crop fundamentals and the likelihood of building stocks.
